El Festival de Cannes, el evento cinematográfico más relevante del mundo, acaba de anunciar su programa oficial para la 77ª edición que tendrá lugar del 14 al 25 de mayo de 2024. El delegado general, Thierry Frémaux, y la presidenta Iris Knobloch, han presentado los títulos de las películas que competirán por la preciada Palma de Oro, con un jurado presidido por Greta Gerwig.

La selección oficial incluye cintas de reconocidos directores como Francis Ford Coppola, David Cronenberg, Yorgos Lanthimos y Andrea Arnold, entre otros. Fuera de competición, se proyectarán obras de George Miller, Kevin Costner y Guy Maddin. La sección Un Certain Regard acogerá producciones internacionales de gran interés. Además, habrá proyecciones especiales y secciones como Cannes Première y Proyecciones de Medianoche.

Este festival promete ser un escaparate excepcional de la diversidad y creatividad del cine mundial, consolidando su posición como referente ineludible para los amantes del séptimo arte. Os dejamos con la programación de todas las secciones.
