El 2024 se perfila como un gran año para la música independiente y alternativa, con varios lanzamientos importantes ya anunciados. El 5 de enero, la banda Pile estrenará su EP Hot Air Balloon a través de Exploding in Sound. El 12 de enero será el turno de Marika Hackman con su álbum Big Sigh, Bill Ryder-Jones con Iechyd Da, Nailah Hunter con Lovegaze y Lily Seabird con su trabajo autoeditado Alas.
Ese mismo mes, el 19 Sleater-Kinney volverán con Little Rope, mientras que Ekkstacy presentará su disco homónimo Ekkstacy. El 22 le tocará el turno a Astrid Sonne con Great Doubt. Para finales de enero, el día 26, se esperan varios lanzamientos importantes: Future Islands con People Who Aren’t There Anymore, NewDad con MADRA, Tapir! con The Pilgrim, Their God & The King Of My Decrepit Mountain, Flower Festival con Age y The Smile con Wall of Eyes.
En febrero tampoco faltarán novedades, como el trabajo de Brittany Howard What Now el día 2, y discos de J Mascis, Kirin J Callinan, Pylon Reenactment Society, Ducks Ltd y Madi Diaz, entre otros. Marzo traerá las nuevas producciones de Mannequin Pussy, Sheer Mag, Sonny Falls y Chastity Belt. Como se puede apreciar, 2024 estará cargado de nuevos lanzamientos que los amantes de la música alternativa e independiente ya esperan con ansias. Habrá que estar atentos a todas estas novedades.
